Stoke-on-Trent City Council is seeking a Senior Practitioner to provide expert social work practice, leading complex safeguarding cases to protect vulnerable children and promote their wellbeing.

Mentor and support junior social workers, fostering professional development and reflective practice within the team.

Conduct thorough assessments and develop child-centred intervention plans in line with the Children Act 1989/2004.

Collaborate with multi-agency partners including health, education, and police to deliver coordinated and effective support.

Maintain detailed and accurate case records, contributing to service evaluation and continuous improvement.

Work within a supportive council environment offering competitive salary, flexible working, and wellbeing initiatives.
