Job details:  This role would be to provide speech and language therapy assessment and intervention for children and young people in Mainstream school settings who have speech and language therapy provision identified on Education Health and Care Plans. Candidates would need to have a good knowledge and experience of the EHCP/SEND process, and also be willing to travel to different school settings to complete intervention. Therefore, a car driver is essential. Candidates should have some post-grad experience of working with children and young people ideally in school settings, although this is not essential. Experience of working as part of an MDT and good communication skills will be needed for this role, due to requiring liaising regularly with parents, carers and education staff / wider health MDT. BSc Speech and Language Therapy or equivalent, with experience in paediatric fields. Working hours: shifts, 09.00 – 17.00.
