- Maintain accurate records and case management information using the Council’s electronic systems.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across housing, rehabilitation, health, social care, and assistive technology services.
- Participate in supervision, peer support, and continuing professional development activities.
- Provide mentoring, guidance, and support to colleagues and students where appropriate.
- Contribute to service development and the delivery of high-quality Occupational Therapy practice.
About You
You will be an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in Adult Social Care, particularly supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. You will understand the impact of neurodiversity and dysregulation and be confident delivering strengths-based interventions that promote independence and positive outcomes.
You will be a collaborative practitioner with excellent communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing a varied caseload while building strong relationships with individuals, families, carers, and partner agencies.
Requirements

- Current HCPC registration.
- Experience working within Adult Social Care.
- Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.

- Knowledge of strengths-based and person-centred approaches to practice.
- Experience undertaking complex assessments and developing outcome-focused support plans.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation, Assistive Technology, equipment provision, and environmental adaptations.
- Strong case management, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams.
