Role Overview
An experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist is required to work on the Orthopaedic Wards at Broomfield Hospital. You will manage a varied inpatient caseload, delivering high-quality assessment, treatment, and discharge planning as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently assess and treat your own caseload as an autonomous practitioner.
- Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based physiotherapy interventions within orthopaedics.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and communicate effectively within the MDT.
- Support, supervise, and teach junior staff, assistants, and students.
- Contribute to audits and service improvement initiatives where required.
- Demonstrate ongoing commitment to professional development.
About You
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Experience in orthopaedics or acute inpatient physiotherapy.
- Strong clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
- Confident working autonomously while contributing to team-based care.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
