Job details:  This role combines clinical work, drawing on your experience and specialist knowledge, with the leadership of a team of occupational therapists, activity workers and physiotherapy technical instructors. You will be based with our established 11 bedded psychiatric intensive care unit in Oxford (Ashurst) where you will deliver evidence based Occupational Therapy interventions and use your creative. Problem solving to adapt opportunities for activity within PICU environment. This role is so valuable in ensuring patients are supported to maintain their occupational identities during this acute phase of ill health. Using activity as a therapeutic tool, as well as evidence-based assessments, you will assess an individual’s readiness to step in to less restricted environments and progress their recovery. Working hours: 37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00.
