About the Role
Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist to join the therapy service. This role involves delivering high-quality speech and language therapy assessment and intervention within an NHS setting, working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
Main Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy assessment and treatment to adult patients.
- Manage a caseload independently, delivering evidence-based interventions.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to support patient care and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust and HCPC standards.
- Contribute to service delivery in line with clinical standards and best practice.
Skills & Experience
- HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist.
- Relevant NHS experience at Band 6 level.
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and MDT working skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage a varied caseload.
Working Hours
- Weekdays only.
- 09:00 – 17:00.
