Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join a community-based Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Service in Newham. The successful Physiotherapist will provide high-quality physiotherapy to people with musculoskeletal conditions, delivering patient-centred care and supporting effective access to appropriately skilled professionals.

This is an excellent opportunity for an autonomous practitioner who is confident managing a defined caseload of complex cases and can demonstrate strong problem-solving, clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice. The role will also involve contributing to team development and supporting the operation of the gym.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality, community-based physiotherapy service to people with musculoskeletal conditions across the London Borough of Newham.
• Act as an autonomous practitioner and independently manage a defined caseload of complex musculoskeletal cases.
• Use clinical reasoning, problem-solving and evidence-based practice to assess and manage patients effectively.
• Deliver client-centred physiotherapy interventions based on individual patient needs and goals.
• Support positive patient experiences through flexible and accessible physiotherapy services.
• Work collaboratively with Extended Scope Physiotherapists, GPwSI colleagues in Rheumatology and Orthopaedics, and other professionals to support effective patient care pathways.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the physiotherapy team and service.
• Assist with the operation of the gym as required.
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation and records in line with professional and service requirements.

About You

We are looking for a confident Band 6 Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with experience of providing physiotherapy for people with musculoskeletal conditions. You will be able to work autonomously, manage a complex caseload and demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.

You will have a strong commitment to evidence-based, client-centred practice and be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and the wider multidisciplinary team. A proactive approach to team development and service improvement will also be valued.

Requirements

• Qualified Physiotherapist with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Experience working within a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy service.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a defined caseload of complex cases.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience delivering evidence-based and client-centred physiotherapy interventions.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and support effective patient care pathways.
• Ability to contribute positively to team development and service delivery.
• Willingness to assist with gym operation.
