Senior Physiotherapist – Band 6/7 – 2 Roles
Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for 2 Senior Physiotherapists at Band 6/7 level to join Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust at Botolph Bridge Community Health Centre, Peterborough. These ongoing locum opportunities are based within the Community Rehabilitation Service, with an initial requirement of 3 months and an ASAP start.
The successful Physiotherapists will provide community-based rehabilitation to patients with a range of rehabilitation and orthopaedic needs. Working within an integrated health and social care model, you will collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and wider professionals to provide holistic, patient-centred assessment and intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide community-based Physiotherapy assessment, treatment and rehabilitation.
- Undertake holistic assessments to identify patients’ functional needs, rehabilitation goals and appropriate interventions.
- Support patients with rehabilitation and orthopaedic needs through evidence-informed Physiotherapy interventions.
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapy Assistants and colleagues across integrated health and social care services.
- Assess for and provide appropriate minor equipment to support rehabilitation and independence.
- Undertake falls risk assessments and contribute to appropriate falls risk management.
- Develop and review rehabilitation plans based on individual needs and clinical presentation.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to effective multidisciplinary communication.
- Work autonomously within the community while contributing positively to the wider rehabilitation team.
About You
We are looking for experienced Senior Physiotherapists who can work confidently within a community rehabilitation environment. You should have experience across rehabilitation and orthopaedics, with strong holistic assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
Experience of working within an integrated health and social care model is highly relevant, particularly where you have worked closely with Occupational Therapists and Therapy Assistants. You should also be confident undertaking falls risk assessments and providing appropriate minor equipment.
Requirements
- Relevant Physiotherapy qualification.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Band 6 or Band 7 level Physiotherapy experience.
- Experience working within community-based Physiotherapy or rehabilitation.
- Experience in rehabilitation and orthopaedic Physiotherapy.
- Experience working within an integrated health and social care environment.
- Strong holistic assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Experience undertaking falls risk assessment and management.
- Experience with minor equipment provision.
- Strong multidisciplinary working and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
