Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for an experienced Band 6 MSK Specialist Physiotherapist to join Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust in Lewisham, within South East London NHS. This locum opportunity is based within Physiotherapy Outpatients and is initially required for 3 weeks.
The successful Physiotherapist will provide specialist musculoskeletal Physiotherapy assessment and treatment within an outpatient setting. This role is suited to a Physiotherapist with recent experience working in MSK who can contribute confidently to the delivery of high-quality patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist musculoskeletal Physiotherapy assessment and intervention within the Physiotherapy Outpatients service.
- Assess patients presenting with a range of MSK conditions and identify appropriate treatment and rehabilitation approaches.
- Use clinical reasoning and professional judgement to develop appropriate patient-centred management plans.
- Support patients to improve function and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
- Work effectively as part of the wider Physiotherapy and multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with professional and NHS requirements.
- Work within relevant professional standards, Trust policies and clinical procedures.
About You
We are looking for a confident Band 6 MSK Specialist Physiotherapist with at least 6 months’ experience working in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. You should have strong clinical reasoning and communication skills and be comfortable working within an outpatient Physiotherapy environment.
Requirements
- Relevant Physiotherapy qualification.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Band 6 level Physiotherapy experience.
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience working in MSK Physiotherapy.
- Experience working within an outpatient Physiotherapy setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills.
- Excellent communication and patient-centred care skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
