Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist to undertake individual locum shifts with The Disabilities Trust t/a Brainkind at Stagenhoe Park, Hertfordshire. This ongoing opportunity is suited to an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for flexible individual shift work within a specialist disability care environment.

The successful Occupational Therapist will provide professional Occupational Therapy input during allocated shifts, working as part of the wider multidisciplinary team to support the needs and rehabilitation goals of individuals receiving care and support at the service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional Occupational Therapy input during allocated individual shifts.
• Use clinical knowledge and professional judgement to support appropriate Occupational Therapy practice.
• Contribute to person-centred assessment and intervention in line with individual needs and goals.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain high standards of professional practice and documentation.
• Work within relevant professional standards, policies and procedures.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist who can work confidently and professionally within a specialist disability care setting. You should be able to use your Occupational Therapy expertise effectively during individual shifts and work collaboratively with colleagues to support positive outcomes for service users.

Requirements

• Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Experience working at Senior Occupational Therapist level.
• Strong professional communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Availability to work individual shifts between 08:30 and 16:30.
