An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join Croydon Health Services NHS Trust on a locum basis, starting ASAP for an initial period of 3–6 weeks.
The successful candidate will have acute occupational therapy experience and be confident working within a busy clinical environment. You will provide high-quality, patient-centred occupational therapy assessment and intervention, supporting patients to maximise their independence and achieve safe and effective discharge where appropriate.
Essential Skills & Experience
HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
Previous acute hospital experience.
Experience completing occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication, organisation and clinical decision-making skills.
Ability to manage a varied caseload within a busy acute setting.
Immediate availability is desirable.
