Brief Job Overview
Tripod Partners are recruiting a Specialist MSK Physiotherapist – Band 6 for a locum role within Surrey NHS. This position focuses on delivering specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy services across community settings.
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, delivering evidence-based rehabilitation and supporting patients to improve function, mobility, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapy assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of MSK conditions.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans.
- Support patients to improve mobility, function, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
- Provide patient-centred care within community MSK services.
About You
You will be an experienced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. You will demonstrate excellent knowledge of MSK conditions and evidence-based treatment approaches.
You will be confident managing a varied caseload independently while delivering high-quality rehabilitation and physiotherapy interventions within community settings.
Requirements
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience within musculoskeletal physiotherapy services.
- Strong assessment, diagnosis, and treatment skills for MSK conditions.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
