Brief Job Overview

Tripod Partners are recruiting a Band 6 Physiotherapist for a locum role within North West NHS. This position sits within community services, supporting patients with rehabilitation needs across a range of settings.

The Physiotherapist will deliver assessments and treatment programmes aimed at improving mobility, functional independence, and overall wellbeing. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role focuses on providing effective rehabilitation and supporting individuals within the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out physiotherapy assessments within community settings.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to support rehabilitation and independence.
• Manage a caseload of patients with varying rehabilitation needs.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated care.
• Provide advice and support to patients, families, and carers.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with NHS standards.
• Adapt to a shift-based working pattern to meet service needs.

About You

You will be a qualified Physiotherapist with experience working within 
NHS or community services. You will demonstrate strong clinical reasoning skills and the 
ability to manage a caseload independently.

You will be adaptable and comfortable working within a shift-based service, supporting patients across 
a variety of community rehabilitation pathways.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
• Experience within NHS or community physiotherapy services desirable.
• Ability to manage a caseload and deliver rehabilitation interventions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns.
