Job Title: Occupational Therapist (2 roles) Area: South London Social Services Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: 2x Occupational Therapists required to join Children Young People – Therapy team. The post holder will need the ability to travel around the borough to visit schools, other education settings and/or other locations as required. Flexible working. Expectation to work 2 days per week in the office. Skills/experience: Knowledge of relevant assessment tools and therapy interventions. Educated to degree level or equivalent in Occupational Therapy. Relevant qualifications including registration with HCPC and RCOT. Experience of working in educational settings. Experience as a paediatric Occupational Therapist. JD available on request:
Overseeing and delivering provision for children and young people aged 4 to 25 years with occupational therapy needs.
Have the opportunity to work in schools, colleges, bases and/or specialist provisions across the Borough.
Support local schools/settings to support children and young people with Occupational Therapy needs.
Work with children and young people who have a range of special educational needs.
Manage own caseload with support, to ensure intended outcomes are delivered within agreed service standards.
