Job Details:
Senior Occupational Therapist required for a 3-month contract within the Independent Living Service
Provide specialist occupational therapy input to support individuals with disabilities to live independently
Work collaboratively with Social Workers, Community Assessment Officers (CAOs) and health professionals across the Council and NHS
Deliver specialist assessments and provide advice on techniques, equipment, adaptations and support
Recommend and arrange provision of equipment and home adaptations
Support the organisation of short-term and long-term support where required
Contribute to innovative approaches to integrated working across health and social care services
Promote wellbeing, independence and improved outcomes for individuals and carers
