Visual Impairment Officer required to join Adult Social Care service
Provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation support to adults with visual impairment
Undertake functional assessments within home and community settings
Provide advice, training and guidance on daily living skills to maximise independence
Assess and recommend specialist equipment and assistive technology
Work collaboratively with social workers, occupational therapists and other professionals
Maintain accurate case records in line with legislation, policy and professional standards
