Job Title: Hand Therapist – Band 6
Location: Croydon Healthcare Services – Croydon University Hospital
Area: South London NHS

Contract Length: Ongoing (initial 6 months)
Job details: Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist required for immediate start.
Based in the Outpatient Department at Croydon University Hospital
Work as part of a vibrant and supportive Hand Therapy team alongside Neurological Therapists and OTs
Liaise closely with T&O Consultants running weekly clinics
Assess and treat a wide range of hand and wrist injuries and conditions
Manage trauma and elective caseloads, including RA, OA, CRPS and wound management
Fabricate thermoplastic splints and demonstrate strong splinting skills
Manage an extensive caseload with effective time management
Skills/Experience Required:
Hand Therapy experience essential
Ability to fabricate thermoplastic splints
Experience working with trauma and elective patients
Knowledge of wound management
Strong clinical reasoning and organisational skills
Working Hours: Full-time preferred (3 or 4 days per week will be considered).
