Job details:
Specialist Occupational Therapist required to support the Stroke & Neuro Service.
The role is to start ASAP for an initial 12-week period.
Provide specialist Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention for patients within the Stroke and Neuro service
Work with patients with complex neurological presentations in an inpatient setting
Contribute to rehabilitation planning and delivery to maximise patient independence and recovery
Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Support safe and timely discharge planning
Skills / experience:
NHS experience essential
Experience working within Stroke and Neuro services in an inpatient setting
Desirable: experience within community services and/or Early Supported Discharge (ESD) teams
