Brief Job Overview

A Senior Occupational Therapist is required to support the Integrated Front Door Service within the London Borough of Harrow. This locum role focuses on providing timely, high-quality occupational therapy input at the first point of contact, supporting effective decision-making and early intervention within Adult Social Care.

This is a short-term assignment initially for three months, ideal for an experienced OT who is confident working at pace within an integrated, multi-disciplinary environment.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior occupational therapy input within the Integrated Front Door service.
• Undertake assessments to support appropriate decision-making and service pathways.
• Work collaboratively with health and social care colleagues within an integrated setting.
• Apply professional judgement to support timely interventions and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with local authority requirements.
• Contribute to effective information sharing and service coordination.

About You

You will be an experienced and confident Occupational Therapist with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced front door or intake environment. You will bring strong assessment skills, sound professional judgement, and a collaborative approach to integrated working.

Requirements

• Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• HCPC registration (essential).
• Experience working at a senior level within Adult Social Care.
• Understanding of integrated front door or early intervention services.
• Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.

Contract & Salary

• Locum contract – initial 3 months, with potential to extend
• Competitive rate – £negotiable
• Based within the London Borough of Harrow
