Job Overview
An experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist is required to start ASAP to support services until the end of March, with the possibility of extension. This role focuses on moving and handling assessments, complex equipment provision, and functional occupational therapy assessments within the community.
Key Responsibilities
Complete moving and handling assessments, including documentation and risk assessments
Undertake occupational therapy assessments, including bathing and personal care
Recommend and provide appropriate equipment to support safety and independence
Carry out falls risk assessments and establish clear, person-centred goals
Conduct seating assessments and advise on complex equipment provision
Skills & Experience Required
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Band 6 experience preferred
Proven experience in moving and handling assessments
Experience with complex equipment provision and seating assessments
Full UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
