About the Role

 

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to provide maternity cover within the acute ward at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd. This is a short-term, high-impact locum role requiring an immediate start, supporting the delivery of safe and effective inpatient physiotherapy.

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment for acute inpatients across a range of medical presentations.
  • Support early rehabilitation and mobility to promote timely recovery and discharge.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Manage a busy caseload autonomously while maintaining accurate and compliant documentation.
  • Contribute to a positive ward environment and uphold high clinical standards.

 

Requirements

 

  • HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
  • Experience working in an acute inpatient setting.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage clinical priorities effectively.

 

Working Hours

 

  • Full-time hours (up to 37.5 hours per week).
