Speech and Language Therapist – Band 6 (Locum)
Location: Guy’s and St Thomas’ – Community
Area: London NHS
Rate: £Negotiable
Contract: Locum, Ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09.00 – 17.00
Role Overview
A Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist is required to join the Community Therapies service, delivering high-quality SLT services across a range of community settings including clinics, nurseries, schools and colleges.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver speech and language therapy interventions within community settings.
Manage a caseload that includes children and/or young people with complex needs.
Undertake comprehensive assessments and develop appropriate therapy plans.
Work collaboratively with families, education staff and multidisciplinary colleagues.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with Trust standards.
Skills & Experience Required
Recognised Speech and Language Therapy degree (or equivalent).
HCPC registration (essential).
Experience working with complex needs.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to work autonomously within a community setting.
