  • Deliver clinical and non-clinical supervision to junior and unqualified staff, supporting professional development and best practice.
  • Carry a clinical caseload of patients with complex medical and functional needs, conducting specialist assessments and interventions.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective discharge planning and promote early supported discharge.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of OT services within the AMU, identifying opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure adherence to all NHS Trust policies, professional guidelines, and relevant legislation.
  • Participate in staff training, clinical governance meetings, and performance reviews to maintain and enhance service quality.
  • Represent the Occupational Therapy department within multi-agency and multidisciplinary meetings as required.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, patient safety, and professional accountability within the team.
