Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified and experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist for a 3-month fixed-term role, with an hourly commitment of 36 hours per week. This role involves providing expert assessment and therapy for children in community and acute settings, focusing on speech, language, communication, and swallowing (dysphagia), while supporting service delivery and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Provide advanced assessment, diagnosis, and management of paediatric speech, language, communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) needs.
Lead and deliver evidence-based, child-centred therapy programmes across community and acute settings.
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers to develop and implement effective care pathways.
Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and guidance to junior therapists, assistants, and students.
Participate in service evaluation, audit, and quality improvement projects to maintain high standards of clinical practice.
Engage in continuing professional development, reflective practice, and research to enhance specialist paediatric knowledge and expertise.
