Band 6 Research Nurse Location: Chertsey, Surrey Pay: £27 per hour Contract: ASAP – 1st December 2026 Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–16:30 (Full-time)
Tripod Partners are seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Research Nurse to support the delivery of mental health and dementia clinical trials. The role involves clinical assessments, participant monitoring, biological sampling, and medication administration — while ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP, UK Clinical Trial Regulations, and research governance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit and assess participants for research trials
Collect and process laboratory samples
Administer trial medication (oral, subcut, IM, IV)
Record and report adverse events in line with protocols
Conduct study visits across clinical sites and in the community
Maintain clear and accurate trial documentation
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to promote research
Support training and development initiatives
Requirements:
NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN)
Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
Phlebotomy and cannulation trained
Confident in administering medication via all key routes
UK driving licence (access to vehicle preferred)
Desirable:
Experience in clinical trials or with mental health/dementia patients
ICH-GCP training (or willingness to complete)
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
