Physiotherapist (Individual Shifts)
Job Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Physiotherapist to work flexible individual shifts with The Disabilities Trust t/a Brainkind, based at Stagenhoe Park in Hertfordshire. This locum role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality physiotherapy support within a specialist neurological rehabilitation setting, helping individuals maximise their independence, mobility, and quality of life.
You’ll work collaboratively as part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team, providing expert assessment and evidence-based interventions to service users with complex neurological and physical needs.
Key Responsibilities
– Deliver individual physiotherapy assessments and interventions for adults with neurological or physical disabilities.
– Develop and implement personalised treatment and rehabilitation plans to promote recovery, independence, and wellbeing.
– Support patients in improving mobility, balance, and functional movement using therapeutic exercise and manual techniques.
– Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care.
– Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation in line with HCPC and organisational standards.
– Provide advice, education, and support to service users, carers, and colleagues.
– Contribute to service development and uphold high standards of professional and ethical practice.
About You
You’ll be a compassionate and skilled Physiotherapist with experience in rehabilitation or neurological care. You’ll demonstrate strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements
– Degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
– Current HCPC registration
– Experience in neurological rehabilitation or physical disability settings (desirable)
– Excellent assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills
– Strong communication and teamwork abilities
– Ability to work independently and adapt to changing service needs
