An experienced and proactive Band 6 Occupational Therapist is required to provide ward-based cover at St Richard’s Hospital. The role involves delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions across inpatient wards, supporting patient flow, and promoting safe and effective discharges. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled OT to contribute to acute care within a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention to inpatients across designated hospital wards.
Support timely discharge planning through functional assessments and rehabilitation.
Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, patients, and families to achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HCPC and Trust policies.
Supervise Band 5 staff, support workers, and students as required.
Apply evidence-based practice to deliver safe, effective, and person-centred care.
