Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and dynamic Band 7 Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to lead and deliver high-quality care across both community and acute settings. This is a senior clinical role requiring strong leadership, advanced assessment skills, and the ability to manage complex caseloads. The successful candidate will play a key role in service development and support junior staff across multidisciplinary teams.
Lead and coordinate the delivery of physiotherapy or occupational therapy services in community and acute environments.
Undertake complex, holistic assessments and develop evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and support to junior staff and students.
Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and carers to ensure seamless, person-centred care.
Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives within the trust.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with HCPC and NHS Trust standards.
