We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Access Screening Officer to join Enfield Council’s Telecare and Occupational Therapy team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in health or social care, particularly in supporting community-based occupational therapy services. You will play a key part in screening referrals, coordinating Telecare support, and assisting qualified Occupational Therapists in delivering timely, person-centred interventions that promote independence and safety at home.
Act as the first point of contact for referrals, carrying out initial screenings and triage for OT and Telecare services
Support the delivery and coordination of Telecare equipment and minor adaptations in the community
Assist Occupational Therapists with assessments, follow-ups, and routine service tasks
Maintain accurate records and ensure timely input of information into case management systems
Liaise with service users, carers, and other professionals to facilitate safe and effective service provision
Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to promote independence and reduce risks at home
