Deliver statutory social work duties for Cheshire West and Chester Council, working with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.
Conduct timely, thorough assessments under the Children Act 1989, ensuring child-centred and strengths-based approaches to inform effective care planning.
Build positive relationships with children, young people, and families, ensuring their voices are central to all decisions and interventions.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for child protection conferences, statutory reviews, and court proceedings, adhering to local and national standards.
Collaborate closely with multi-agency partners including health, education, and voluntary services to deliver coordinated safeguarding and support.
Participate in regular supervision, reflective practice, and professional development to maintain high standards within Cheshire West and Chester’s Children’s Services.
