Fulfil statutory responsibilities on behalf of Hull City Council, working with children and families across Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.
Manage a diverse caseload, undertaking high-quality assessments and developing care plans that are timely, strengths-based, and tailored to each child’s needs.
Build strong, trusting relationships with children and their families, ensuring the child’s voice informs all assessment, planning, and decision-making processes.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for legal proceedings, child protection conferences, and looked after reviews in line with statutory and local requirements.
Work collaboratively with a range of multi-agency professionals to coordinate safeguarding and intervention strategies that promote positive outcomes for children.
Engage in supervision, team development, and continuous professional learning to maintain high practice standards within Hull City Council’s Children’s Services.
