Deliver statutory social work functions for Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, supporting children and families under Child in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children pathways.
Manage a caseload of varying complexity, completing high-quality assessments in line with the Children Act 1989 and local safeguarding procedures.
Develop and implement outcome-focused care plans, ensuring the child’s voice is central to all planning and decision-making.
Prepare clear, evidence-based reports for legal proceedings, child protection conferences, and looked after reviews, adhering to statutory timelines and standards.
Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals across education, health, and the voluntary sector to ensure coordinated support and effective interventions.
Engage in supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional development, contributing to high standards within Redcar and Cleveland’s Children’s Services.
