Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL) is seeking a skilled and motivated Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join its dynamic children’s therapy team on a 3-month contract. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, child-centred occupational therapy assessments and interventions across a range of settings, including clinics, schools, and home environments.
Manage a varied caseload of children and young people with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs.
Work collaboratively with families, carers, teachers, and other professionals to create and implement tailored therapy plans that support participation and independence.
Provide specialist advice and strategies to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, handwriting, and self-care activities.
Contribute to service delivery through accurate documentation, outcome measurement, and participation in audits or evaluations.
Support the supervision and mentoring of junior staff or students, and actively engage in professional development opportunities during the contract period.
