Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking an experienced and committed Locum Qualified Social Worker (QSW) to join their Adult Safeguarding Team. This role involves undertaking safeguarding enquiries and assessments for adults at risk, working within multi-agency frameworks to protect vulnerable individuals and promote their wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and proven experience in adult safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 of the Care Act 2014 for adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
Assess risk and support adults to make informed decisions about their safety and wellbeing.
Collaborate with partner agencies including health, police, and community services to coordinate safeguarding responses.
Develop, implement, and review safeguarding plans tailored to individuals’ needs.
Maintain comprehensive, accurate, and timely case records in line with Nottinghamshire County Council policies and statutory requirements.
Participate in safeguarding meetings, case conferences, and contribute to multi-agency strategy discussions.
