Oxfordshire County Council is looking for experienced and committed Children’s Social Workers to join their frontline teams. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of vulnerable children and families through high-quality, child-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of children and families requiring statutory intervention, including assessments, care planning, and reviews.
Undertake Section 17 and Section 47 assessments in line with the Children Act 1989.
Work closely with multi-agency partners to ensure coordinated and effective service delivery.
Prepare and present reports for Child Protection Conferences, Looked After Reviews, and court proceedings.
Promote the safety, stability, and wellbeing of children through timely interventions and support.
