We are seeking a confident and experienced Team Manager to lead our Referral and Assessment Team. In this frontline leadership role, you will manage a busy service receiving and assessing new referrals, ensuring swift, effective decision-making and safe outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong team leadership: Manage and support social workers in handling referrals, assessments, and initial safeguarding enquiries, ensuring high standards of practice.
Oversee assessment processes: Ensure timely and robust Child and Family Assessments in response to new concerns, and appropriate thresholds for intervention are applied.
Maintain performance and compliance: Monitor caseloads, audit quality of practice, and ensure adherence to statutory duties, local policies, and Ofsted expectations.
Promote multi-agency collaboration: Work closely with the MASH, health, education, and police partners to ensure effective information sharing and coordinated responses.
