As a Physiotherapist with Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, working on a three-month Band 6 contract in an inpatient setting, you will provide specialist assessment and rehabilitation to adult patients within general medicine. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will deliver tailored treatment plans to enhance mobility, function and overall wellbeing.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.
Develop, implement and review individualised treatment programmes in line with clinical priorities and best practice.
Work closely with patients, families and healthcare professionals to support recovery and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with NHS and professional standards.
Provide education and advice to patients and carers on rehabilitation techniques and self-management.
Participate in service development and quality improvement initiatives within the physiotherapy team.
