Job details: Physiotherapist required for 2 weeks, with possible extension. Inpatient Rehabilitation. General ward based experience of managing a mixed caseload, neuro/frailty/orthopaedics. Must have rotational band 5 experience and previous experience of working in the NHS. Knowledge of electronic patient records would be an advantage. No hospital accommodation available. • The post holder will apply specialised skills to manage a caseload of patients receiving inpatient treatment in the elderly care, rehabilitation and elective orthopaedic setting. This will include a diverse range of conditions in highly complex patients with physical, psychological and social care needs. They will assess, diagnose, implement and evaluate individual programmes of care for patients with a wide range of clinical needs in the elderly care setting across two wards. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide timely treatment plans and to enable appropriate and safe discharges from hospital.
• The post holder will be required to participate in 7 day working including bank holidays.
• The post holder also needs a flexible approach to ensure the adult physiotherapy service at the Hospital is fully supported.
• The post holder will deliver clinical education of qualified staff and physiotherapy assistants within the speciality and students at undergraduate level.
