Band 7 Pharmacist – South Wales
Type: Locum
Contract Length: 3 months
Rate: £30.00 per hour
Overview:
An excellent opportunity for a Band 7 Pharmacist to join a busy team on a flexible, short-term basis. Key Duties:
Screen drug charts, TTAs, and outpatient prescriptions in the dispensary to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based prescribing.
Provide patient counselling on medications to support adherence and understanding of treatment plans.
Offer expert pharmaceutical advice to doctors and nurses to optimise patient care.
Conduct clinical interventions to ensure appropriate medication use and address any prescribing concerns.
Assist with providing advice, information, and the preparation of reports for healthcare committees if nominated to do so.
Cooperate with Medicines Information staff in responding to information requests arising from the Clinical Services.
