Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 6 Pharmacy Technician to join the hospital and community pharmacy services. This role will focus on supporting the safe and effective management and distribution of medicines, working closely with pharmacists to optimise patient care.
Prepare and dispense medications in line with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements
Support pharmacists in clinical, inpatient, and community pharmacy tasks
Maintain accurate records of stock, prescriptions, and patient medication information
Assist in the management of pharmacy inventory, including ordering and quality checks
Provide guidance and advice to patients and healthcare staff on medication administration
Contribute to service development initiatives and support junior pharmacy staff where required
