Tripod Partners are looking for an experienced Band 6 Mental Health Practitioner to join a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in West Lancashire. This is a full-time, face-to-face role for an initial 3-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct initial assessments (IA) and manage a caseload of children and young people.
Work within Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) and attend clinical meetings.
Provide duty cover and contribute to the ward/duty system.
Develop and implement care plans, ensuring effective support for young people.
Assess and manage mental health risk, adapting risk plans as necessary.
Work collaboratively with other professionals, families, and community services.
Position Details
Location: West Lancashire
Setting: CAMHS / Community Mental Health
Contract:3 Months
Hours:Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate:
Weekday: £26.55 per hour
Requirements
NMC-registered RMN or other NMC-registered nursing qualification with CAMHS experience.
Proven ability to assess, manage cases, and support MDT functions.
Strong experience in duty work and ward-based mental health support.
