Location: University Hospital Lewisham (UHL) Urgent Care Centre Contract: Full-time, 12-hour shifts Pay Rate: £33 per hour
Role Overview:
We are seeking Band 7 Emergency Care Practitioners (ECPs) to join the Urgent Care Centre (UCC) at University Hospital Lewisham. The role requires experience in treating both adults and paediatrics and the ability to commit to regular 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency care to both adult and paediatric patients.
Conduct clinical assessments, triage, and implement appropriate treatment plans.
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Support and guide junior staff in delivering emergency care services.
Maintain accurate documentation in line with NHS policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Registered Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) with appropriate qualifications.
Experience in both adult and paediatric emergency care.
Ability to commit to regular 12-hour shifts.
Strong decision-making and clinical assessment skills.
