University Hospital of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a qualified and experienced Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the Adult Inpatient service. This role will focus on providing specialist physiotherapy, including Best Interest Assessments, across acute and general medicine settings to support patient recovery and independence.
Undertake comprehensive physiotherapy assessments and interventions for adult inpatients
Conduct Best Interest Assessments in line with statutory requirements
Deliver tailored rehabilitation programmes within acute and general medicine settings
Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans
Support patients and families with guidance, advice, and education to optimise outcomes
Contribute to service development initiatives and provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff
