An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join Croydon Health Services NHS Trust. This Band 7 role focuses on providing specialist assessment and intervention for children within the community, supporting their communication and swallowing needs. You will work closely with families, schools and the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, child-centred care.
Deliver specialist speech and language assessments and evidence-based interventions for children in the community.
Provide tailored support and training to families, carers and education staff to promote effective communication strategies.
Work collaboratively with health, education and social care professionals to ensure coordinated care planning.
Offer clinical supervision, guidance and leadership to junior therapists, students and assistants.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives and the implementation of best practice models.
Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and Trust standards.
