As a Pharmacy Technician with Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust, you will support the safe and effective supply and management of medicines across community healthcare settings. Operating as a qualified and experienced practitioner, you will collaborate closely with pharmacists and the wider healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care.
Assist in the preparation, dispensing and distribution of medicines in community healthcare settings.
Support pharmacists in clinical and operational pharmacy activities.
Work collaboratively with patients, families, carers and healthcare professionals to ensure safe medication use.
Maintain accurate records in accordance with professional and organisational standards.
Contribute to quality assurance and safety initiatives within the pharmacy service.
Provide advice and guidance on medicines administration as appropriate.
