As an Occupational Therapist with Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, you will provide specialist assessment and intervention for adults across acute general medicine, orthopaedics and rehabilitation services. You will support patients’ functional independence, safe moving and handling, and the provision of equipment and adaptations. Band 7 responsibilities include leadership, supervision of junior staff, and contributing to service development and quality improvement.
Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for adults in acute and rehabilitation settings.
Develop, implement and review personalised therapy programmes tailored to individual needs and best practice.
Provide expert guidance on safe moving and handling, as well as equipment and adaptations.
Collaborate closely with patients, families, carers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in accordance with NHS and professional standards.
At Band 7, lead, supervise and mentor junior staff while contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives.
