The post holder is an autonomous practitioner, providing specialist physiotherapy assessment, intervention, and review for children.
The post holder rotates through two areas of work within an integrated Children’s Physiotherapy Service. One rotation is community based with the other based at Croydon University Hospital. Each rotation has a particular focus of children’s physiotherapy, covering the areas of neurodevelopmental treatment, respiratory care, orthopaedic management and musculoskeletal treatment.
Assessment and treatment is carried out at Croydon University Hospital and in a variety of community locations including clinic bases, homes, nurseries and schools.
Responsible for: Band 5 Children’s Physiotherapist and/or Physiotherapy Assistant. Skills/experience: Experience with Neuro-special school and/or MSK. Working hours: Full time. Code: U.006003.B14784
