Job Title: Hand Therapist – Band 6 Location: Croydon Health Services NHS Trust – Croydon University Hospital Area: South London NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing. Job details: Enthusiastic and dynamic Hand Therapist required to start asap for 4 months. Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist required to join the small Hand Therapy team. JD available on request: This post will be based in the Outpatient department where there is a vibrant and supportive team of Neurological Therapists and OTs on site. There will also be the opportunity to liaise closely with the T&O Consultants who run weekly clinics at the Hospital. The post holder will need to have a broad experience in assessing and treating a variety of hand/wrist injuries and conditions and have good splinting skills, including thermoplastic splinting. They must have experience at working with trauma/elective patients, RA/OA, CRPS, etc; and also have knowledge in wound management. The successful post holder will work as part of the hand therapy team. They must be able to manage an extensive caseload and have excellent time management skills. Working hours: Full time. Code: U.
