Job Title: Physiotherapist – Band 6 (Part time) Area: Essex NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: Physiotherapist required to start asap for 12 weeks. Inpatient Therapy. Working on a single ward 19-20 bedded inpatient rehabilitation unit. To complete initial assessments and devise appropriate therapy and discharge plans for patients presenting with a wide variety of conditions. Mainly 65 years and older. To work alongside OT and therapy assistants to meet the therapy needs of the patients. To attend daily ward rounds and weekly MDTs. JD available on request:
The post holder will be working as part of the inpatient therapy team with a focus on rehabilitation. This will involve helping patients to engage as independently as possible in activities which enhance their health & wellbeing.
The post holder will work as part of the integrated ward team to plan, deliver and evaluate all aspects of the patient treatment process. This at times will include onward referrals to appropriate community-based health and social care agencies
Working hours: 33 hours (4-5 days) per week between Monday – Friday, 09.00 – 17.00. Code: U.021006.B12234
