Job Title: Specialist Speech and Language Therapist – Band 6 Area: East London NHS Salary: £negotiable Job Type: Locum Contract length: Ongoing Job details: To cover vacancy. Assessment of Children and young people with complex communication needs (children and young people aged 0-19 years with SLCN); Identification of needs and development of treatment plans; Speech and Language therapy interventions; SLT reviews; Completion of onward referrals as required; Completion of reports; Education Health and Care plan assessment and advice reports; SLT with experience of community services, in particular special schools and working in the NHS and has mainstream school/or preschool/special school experience. Experience of SLCN and neurodiverse client group as well as CYP with complex needs. Experience and implementation of a range of SLT assessments and interventions and MDT working.
